This is just one of many similar design projects for clients that include Dixons,
Safeway, Aldi and Lidl.
Open Spaces was appointed to provide arboricultural consultancy and landscape design
services to the project, and included negotiations with the local planning authority.
The final scheme for the site which lies adjacent to the River Roding, included
a bentonite capping layer beneath car parking and planted areas to address soil
contamination issues that dated back to WWII.
