The application for an enhanced scheme for development on disused railway land in the heart of Tottenham has now gained full planning consent from Haringey Council.

The revised proposal focuses exclusively on land at Plevna Crescent and includes four residential buildings comprising some 70 apartments, with underground parking, associated formal communal landscape areas, green roofs and provision for children’s play.

The wider landscape setting includes an ecological habitat park as an enhancement of the site’s ‘SINC’ land designation, where access to interested groups will be permitted by arrangement.

Working with appointed architects Ayre Chamberlain Gaunt, Open Spaces has moved the revised scheme forward via a full range of services including hard and soft landscape design, tree and ecological surveys and reports, and mitigation and enhancement proposals.

Our involvement in the project continued moving into the detailed design stages and discharge of conditions for this flagship development proposal, which is anticipated to make a major contribution to local housing needs and the ecological aspirations of the borough.
